Gear

Riding gear on sale: Jackets

Helmets, jackets, boots and riding kit currently marked down at RevZilla, Cycle Gear and J&P Cycles. We read their pages the same way we read dealers' pages, write down the price and the list price, and print the date we looked.

Those three sell much the same catalogue at much the same prices — the same item routinely appears at all three for the identical figure — so treat this as one shop's clearance rack rather than a comparison between shops. Where an item appears more than once we show it once, at the lowest price we saw.

34 items shown, deepest discount first. 2 of them are down to two sizes or fewer, which is usually why the discount is that deep. How we are paid.

Prices are what the shop showed on the date beside each item and can change afterwards. “List” is the manufacturer's figure, not proof the shop ever charged it. We do not know what fits your machine and we do not guess.

Sizes are the ones the shop still showed as available when we read the page, on the date beside each item. An item we hold no size list for is not shown when you pick a size — we do not know, and we would rather show you less than guess.
